Port Byron community health is not fit for animals let alone people , my husband was there 2 Monday's in a row , the first Monday was a appointment, they couldn't get blood drawn, apparently they don't know how to do that , he had told the NP that he was congested, no big deal to the NP, went yesterday morning for them to try once again , it took some time for the MA to get his blood drawn , told her on his way to the exam room he had alot of congestion, she said to him well, your only here for a blood draw, she did go talk with the NP, mind you there was no one there other than my husband it was 8:30 am , the NP would not come in to see my husband, told the MA to get rest take a decongestants, which he had been doing for two days already, so out the door we went , we went to urgent care, he has a upper respiratory infection. They are either lazy or stupid or both. Also if you call when you are sick they tell you to go to urgent care, they never have openings, what kind of health care is that ?
I called to set up an appointment. I told the girl what was going on and that I needed some teeth taken out and she burst out laughing after I told her all the problems I have been having and then put me on hold. Another girl picks up and I am infuriated and She is trying to apologize for her and I said no put her back on the phone. Apparently a co-worker whispered something in her ear she thought was funny. They are all very unproffessional. So I am not going to be ever making an appointment there.
Nurse practioner David Hahn and Emma Dizon have no bed side manner. It's my experience David accosted me. Emma near did the same in retaliation to the altercation with David. Emma refused to treat my reasons for the appointment as more retaliation. During the altercation with David I believe he is liable for medical misconduct.
Severely understaffed and lacking quality. No real doctors, place is staffed by solely LPN's and PA's. General incompetence and lack of organization. Medical staff lacking adequate experience in the medical field to properly diagnose serious or complex medical issues. Medical staff neglects, downplays or outright disregards patient's expressed symptoms and concerns. If you have anything more than the common cold, upset stomach, ear infection etc.. I urge everyone to go elsewhere. Otherwise you'll be putting your life at risk if you have serious illness that requires urgent medical attention and treatment.
Anyone that claims these facilities are any good either works for them, knows someone that does, is oblivious or needs to give it some time to reform their opinions their reviews are based upon.
The quality of healthcare this facility provides is right down there with urgent care in Auburn, NY. I've started going to Syracuse, NY for my appointments because I noticed poor healthcare and medical neglect is an epidemic with facilities in the Auburn area.
